periods on the full network were racked up this week by the National
Broadcasting Company (NBC). Two of the three nighttime shows were re-pacted
by Procter & Gamble. Thru Benton & Bowles, the soap company has signed again
for the 8 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday period, currently housing Life of Riley. The
Compton agency renewed the following half hour for Truth or Consequences.
Whitehall Pharmacal, thru Sullivan, Stauffer, Colwell & Bayles, has renewed
the 6:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday period, on which Ellery Queen is slated to replace
the Bob Burns Show June 1.
